Woman stabs boyfriend in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - The Middletown Police Department reported a stabbing on Roosevelt Blvd. early Sunday morning.

Officers discovered the male victim and the woman suspect walking in the 3100 block of Roosevelt.

Investigators say that the male had been stabbed once in the torso with non-life threatening injuries.

Further investigation revealed that Jatae Tisdale-South stabbed her boyfriend and slit his tires after a heated argument.

Officers found the knife in Tisdale-South's purse.

The victim, who has not been identified, was transported to Atrium Medical Center.

Tisdale- South was arrested and charged with felonious assault with a deadly weapon. She is currently being held in the Middletown City Jail.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
