BOONE COUNTY, KY (FOX19) -
A woman is dead and two others are injured after they were struck by a vehicle while walking on Donaldson Rd. on Saturday night.
Authorities say Brooke Chance, 24, her husband Kyle Chance, 29, and a friend Kelsey Ryan, 21, were walking eastbound along Donaldson Road after attending the Mary Queen of Heaven Church Festival.
They were walking towards their parked car when they were hit by a Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Christy Vance of Union, KY.
Brooke Chance was taken to University Hospital with multiple life-threatening injuries, but later succumbed to her injuries.
Kyle Chance and Kelsey Ryan sustained minor injuries.
Vance was uninjured.
The accident is still under investigation.
