The Ohio National Guard and the Village of Woodlawn signed a new joint operating agreement on Monday.
The deal paves the way for a new and improved Woodlawn Training and Community Center. The agreement states that soldiers will train in the state of the art facility while providing Woodlawn with a recreational facility for local citizens.
The construction was funded by Woodlawn's $2.3 million combined with $15.5 million of Federal and State money. The construction was funded nearly seven years ago.
