Stop signs in place at a dangerous Westwood intersection

Stop signs are now in place at a dangerous intersection in Westwood.

Cincinnati City Council approved the signs at Lafeuille and Westbrook following the death of 9-year-old Tyala Frazier. She was hit and killed by a car while trying to cross the street on Lafeuille Ave. in March.

Some drivers are not paying attention to the stop signs and are driving right past them. Resident Tracy Lovins believes people aren't stopped out of habit but hopes that will change soon. Lovins plans to ask the City for more safety measures at the intersection.
