CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Cincinnati State student revives a baby who had a medical issue.
An ambulance was called to Storrs Street in Lower Price Hill Wednesday afternoon to attend to an unresponsive baby.
Witnesses tell FOX19 the baby became unresponsive while being held by her grandmother outside.
CNA and Cincinnati State student Monique Robinson was with the grandmother when this happened. Witnesses say Robinson sprung into action when she noticed the child's coloring change and began performing infant CPR.
Robinson exclusively told FOX19 in an on-camera interview that she did CPR for about a minute before the child took a deep breath and began to cry.
The ambulance arrived and took the baby to the hospital. She's expected to make a full recovery.
Robinson has 8 years experience as a CNA.
