Want to win a $400,000 home? Give us a call!

This little guy is ready to go for the Kentucky Speedway this weekend! This little guy is ready to go for the Kentucky Speedway this weekend!

Ahhhh, it's finally Friday. Such a good feeling!

If you're gearing up to start off your weekend, be sure to keep your sunscreen handy and drink plenty of water because the heat isn't going anywhere!

Meteorologist Jeff Creighton is hanging out with us morning show crazies and he's saying we can expect sunny skies with highs hitting the mid 90s for your Friday afternoon. Not much is going to change for the rest of your weekend, but be sure to tune-in starting at 4 AM for all of your current weather conditions as well as a complete seven-day forecast!

It's a big weekend for NASCAR fans and they seem more than willing to give the Kentucky Speedway a second chance at hosting the Sprint Cup Series. Last year, thousands of people sat on the highway waiting to get into the track, some never even making it inside. Dan Wells will be live in Sparta this morning with more on the races and how the tracks have worked to improve traffic flow and parking starting at 4:30 AM.

The Cincinnati Streetcar Project could be taking a big financial blow. Congressman Steve Chabot has reportedly convinced his colleagues in the House of Representatives to reject an additional $25 million in federal funding. Rob Williams and Sheila Gray will have more on this huge setback at 5 AM.

FOX19 wants to know what you think about Chabot's attempt to stop the streetcar. Call us on our RANT line (513-655-RANT) or tell us your thoughts on our Facebook page.

A three-alarm fire broke out at a vacant building in Lower Price Hill late last night. The building, located on the corner of Neave and St. Michael Street, had the extra alarms called due to extreme heat. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

It was a great night to be a Kentucky fan as they watched Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist be the first and second round picks in last night's NBA draft. Marquis Teague, Terrence Jones, Doron Lamb and Darius Miller were also drafted.

Speaking of the draft, you won't want to miss our list of the day! Coming up at 6:35, we're going to have the top five WORST NBA draft fashions! After taking a look at some of them, I'm still trying to figure out what these guys were thinking!

TODAY IS THE DAY - after months and months of watching the St. Jude Dream Home being built, decorated, toured and talked about, it's finally time for that one lucky ticket to be drawn! For all of those procrastinators out there (not judging-I'm one of them), you're in luck! All morning long, Tracey Johnson and Frank Marzullo will be standing by with the folks from St. Jude and the LCNB National Bank to sell those last minute tickets! For only $100, you have a shot at winning a $400,000 home in the Miami Bluffs subdivision in Maineville! All of the proceeds go directly to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Please, please, PLEASE pick up the phone and give us a call: 1-800-537-1735.

That wraps up your Friday morning headlines. For all of these stories and much more, tune-in starting at 4 AM for the FOX19 Morning News followed by a two-hour Morning Xtra special!

Have a great weekend and I'll talk to you on Monday!
