Residents of Clermont County are being asked to conserve water.
Due to the current dry weather period, citizens that get water from the Clermont County Water Resources Department are being asked to voluntarily use less, non-essential water.
Customers are being urged to abstain from washing their cars, watering the lawn and other non-essential water usage.
The Clermont County Water Resources Department says their water supply is for normal or average use. When extended periods of dry weather hit, their system cannot keep up with excess, non-essential water usage.
The department says that they are currently asking residents to voluntarily conserve water, and if usage continues, they could have to declare a water emergency and impose actual restrictions.
