Report: Adam Jones blew $1 million in a weekend

Adam Jones

Bengals cornerback Adam Jones told NFL rookies he once blew a million dollars in a weekend, according to a story on Yahoo.com.

Coby Fleener, an Indianapolis Colts draft pick, wrote a guest column for SI.com saying Jones spoke at the NFL's rookie symposium and used that story as a teaching point for the draft picks.

Jones, a former first round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans, was recently ruled to owe more than $11 million to victims of a Las Vegas strip club shooting in 2007. Jones was not the shooter, but the gunman claims he was doing Jones bidding.

Jones recently signed a one-year contract to return to the Bengals this coming season.
