Cincinnati State held its 4th annual Student Leadership Conference on Monday.
The conference is made possible by a grant from AT&T. It brings high school students to campus to work on their speaking skills, while also learning to interact with peers from different schools.
There was also a student-led forum on ways to reduce the dropout rate.
Some of the schools involved included Mt. Healthy, Walnut Hills and Taft High School.
The leadership conference will continue on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.
