Independence Day celebrations kick off across the Tri-State Tuesday heading into the holiday weekend.
Liberty Township Fourth of July Parade - Lakota East High School - 6840 Lakota Lane - Liberty Township July 4 : 10 a.m.
Parade features floats, marching bands, fire trucks and more. Route will go from school, down Wyandot Road to Yankee Road and ends at Liberty Park behind Lakota Family YMCA. Wyandot and Yankee roads will temporarily close between 10-11 a.m.
Northside Fourth of July Parade - Northside - Hamilton Avenue - Cincinnati July 4 : 12 p.m. Starts at northern boundary of Northside and travels south on Hamilton Avenue to Hoffner Park, where celebration continues with Independence Day Festival. Carnival follows from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Hoffner Park.
Ault Park Independence Day Celebration - Ault Park 3600 Observatory Ave. - Mount Lookout July 4 : 11 a.m. Parade registration begins at 10:30 p.m. Morning program at 11 a.m. includes children's bike-scooter-stroller-wagon parade and contest. Evening program at 6 p.m. with concessions, music by Blue Stone Ivory at 8 p.m. and Rozzi's Famous Fireworks at 10 p.m.
Park Hills Fourth of July Festival - Sisters of Notre Dame - 1601 Dixie Highway - Park Hills July 4 : 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. Games for children and adults, petting zoo, pony rides, entertainment, flea market, silent auction, food and major raffle of $2,590.
July 4th Parade and Festival - City of Montgomery - Montgomery Road - Montgomery July 4 : 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Parade starts 10 a.m. along Cooper Road from Junior High School east to Montgomery Road and north to Schoolhouse Lane. Festival starts 11 a.m. in Montgomery Park with food, games, music and baseball game.
Fourth of July Salsa Party - The Penguin Dueling Piano Bar - 441 Vine St. - Downtown July 4 : 9 p.m. - 2 a.m. Salsa, merenque and Bachata music by DJ Rudy Alvarez.
Yelp's Independence Day Party - National Underground Railroad Freedom Center - 50 E. Freedom Way - Downtown July 4 : 8 p.m. - 10 p.m. Music, barbecue, dancing and tours of museum.
Greendale Fourth of July Celebration - Greendale Park - 827 Nowlin Ave. July 4th: 9 a.m. All-day event including 5K run/walk at 9 a.m., fishing derby 9-11 a.m., bike parade at 3 p.m. and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
America's Celebration - Newport Motorcycle Rally - Newport on the Levee - Riverfront July 4 - 8 This celebration will include fireworks on the riverfront, games, live entertainment, food, contests and prizes! Motorcycle show registration is Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and awards will be given out on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. to the best-looking bikes.
