BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) - As many as 100,000 people were estimated at the Red, White and Blue Ash event for the Fourth of July. The event has grown since other communities, such as Mason, cancelled their shows.
Many in attendance reflected on what it meant to be free Americans.
"We're a darn blessed country and that we need to remember that and we can't abuse that," said Kathryn Rodriguez of Springdale. "If it wasn't for (the military), we wouldn't have the freedom we have today. We might not be fighting on our soil, but they keep our soil safe and allow us to have the freedom by them willing to put their lives on the line for us."
Country rock bank Exile and pop rock group Huey Lewis & the News kept the entertainment rolling on the main stage. Rozzi's Famous Fireworks provided the display after the concerts.
