BARDSTOWN, KY (WAVE) – A Nelson
County man was arrested Tuesday on charges related to child pornography.
Kentucky State Police said an
undercover online investigation into the possession and distribution of images
depicting child sexual exploitation led them to Frederick Rausch IV, 22.
A search warrant was executed at
Rausch's home on Tuesday where KSP said troopers seized equipment used to
distribute child pornography. The equipment was taken to the KSP forensic
laboratory for examination.
Rausch is charged with 10 counts of
possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by minor. Additional
charges are pending.
Rausch was lodged at the Nelson
County Detention Center.
