Richard Simmons won't be sweating it out in court. An assault charge against the 55-year-old exercise guru has been dropped. He had been accused of slapping a six-foot-two, 250-pound ultimate cage fighter, allegedly in retaliation for a sarcastic remark. The man recognized Simmons in March at the Phoenix airport as they waited for a flight to LA. Police say he made an off-hand comment to other passengers about Simmons' exercise videos. Police say Simmons then slapped the man, who was not hurt. Police cited Simmons for misdemeanor assault. The cage fighter later agreed to drop the charge.
