Crash in Wilder leaves two people injured

WILDER, KY (FOX19) - A crash in Wilder has left two people injured on Saturday night.

Police say a driver was traveling northbound on the AA Highway around 7:15 p.m. when the vehicle entered the intersection without stopping and struck another vehicle. The second vehicle was turning south onto the highway from Pooles Creek.

Wilder Police say the driver and passenger of the second vehicle were taken to University Hospital. The driver is in stable condition and the passenger is in critical condition. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

Authorities are not releasing the names of the people involved in the crash at this time. The initial investigation shows that the traffic light had lost power in all directions and it was raining at the time of the crash.
