Kentuckian documents brother's post-war struggle

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -

With help from his filmmaking brother, Joe Edwards is ready to tell others about his struggles since returning from Iraq.

How his Kentucky National Guard unit was trained to be military police but ended up in the center of the fight.

How he turned 21 in Iraq during his extended 18-month tour and came back changed.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reports that Edward's 32-year-old brother, Jason, is helping in his brother's recovery by making a documentary, called Two Brothers, about his brother's journey.

One of Jason's professors at Eastern Kentucky University has signed on to help.

The film is being edited. It includes interviews with the 26-year-old Joe and his family, his girlfriend, the people closest to him who have seen his struggles firsthand.
