Grandchildren travel from Hawaii to perform in Loveland
LOVELAND, OH (FOX19) -
A Hawaiian band performed at the Loveland Health Care Center on Sunday.
Resident Bernadine Kucklick's three grandchildren make up the band. Timi, 17, Emily 14 and Quinn, 10 perform traditional Hawaiian music with a ukulele, clack key guitar, pakini bass and Hawaiian steel guitar. Timi was just 2 years old when he last saw his grandmother and the younger kids met their grandmother for the first time on Sunday.
The band has earned awards in Hawaii and plans to travel around the country to share their music.
