Police are searching for a suspect who they say broke into a home and beat the home's resident last month in North College Hill.

North College Hill Police say a suspect kicked in the rear kitchen door of a home then attempted to grab a canvas bag and keys from the kitchen table around just after 3 a.m. on June 30. The resident of the home was awakened by the loud crash and went down to the kitchen to investigate the noise. The suspect and victim struggled over the bag while the suspect beat the victim.

The victim suffered injuries from head to toe during the assault.

The suspect is still on the loose and is described as a black male around 14 or 15 years old. He is about 5'7" tall and weighs around 185 pounds with a muscular build. If you have any information or can help identify the suspect, you're asked to call Crimestoppers 513-352-3040.
