The top 40 men's players in the world and 19 of the top 20 women will be in Mason next month for the Western and Southern Open.
Fresh off their titles at Wimbledon, Roger Federer and Serena Williams headline what's become one of the biggest tournaments in the world.
The tournament will be played August 11-19 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason. The 2012 event will also mark the completion of a $22 million, three-year expansion of the venue. This year will feature a new food court with twice the seating as last year.
Some of the players fans will see include Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Andy Roddick, Mardy Fish, Serena Williams, Venus Williams and Maria Sharapova.
The tournament falls directly between the Olympics and the U.S. Open, which the tournament director says could be good exposure for Cincinnati's event.
