Part two of the World Choir Games begins with a parade

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Part two of the World Choir Games kicks off on Tuesday.

The second part of the 2012 World Choir Games will begin with the Celebration of Nations Parade. 23 choirs from the first part of the competition will be staying for the second part.

"Cincinnati was at its best during the past week, which greatly contributed to a successful beginning to the 7th World Choir Games," said Nick Vehr, managing director of the Cincinnati Organizing Committee. "It's important to remember that thousands of new visitors are coming to town, and we want them to have an equally special experience this week."

Several events are almost sold out including the Gospel & Spiritual Concert on July 12, the Champions Concert on July 14 and the Closing Ceremony on July 14.

The parade will begin around 6 p.m. at the Duke Energy Convention Center.
