New view restaurant in final phase of development

PRICE HILL, OH (FOX19) -

The final phase of construction is set to begin at a new view restaurant in Price Hill.

The Incline Public House is located at the corner of West 8th Street and Matson Place.

The restaurant will be run by Tony and Dominic Cafeo and is being developed by John Cranley.

Located at the top of the former Price Hill Incline, the Incline Public House will feature some of the best views in the city. Price Hill Will and the Parks Department recently  completed renovation of Olden View Park, which sits between the Incline House and Primavista, a well renowned Italian fine dining restaurant.

Cincinnati Landmark Productions, owner of the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts, will raise funds to build another theater across the street from the Incline Public House.

"One of the reasons we're so aggressively planning and fundraising for a theater in the Incline District is because it's an area exploding with growth," said Tim Perrino, executive artistic director of Cincinnati Landmark Productions. "It's an exciting time for East Price Hill and an exciting time for everyone who cares about it."

"It is great to have another restaurant opening on the Hill," said Ken Smith, Executive Director of Price Hill Will. "With Bayou Fish house opening a few blocks away earlier this year, and Happy Days Café opening last week, dining options continue to expand across Price Hill."

Last year this portion of the Incline District of Price Hill was declared a Community Entertainment District by City Council.
