Burlington crash claims a life

BURLINGTON, KY (FOX19) - A crash involving two vehicles ended in tragedy in Burlington on Saturday night.

Authorities say Jennifer Valdez, 29, was making a left turn from KY-18 to Limaburg Rd. when her vehicle was hit by a vehicle driven by Andrew Sebree, 19, just before 11 p.m.

Angela Horne, 42, a passenger in Sebree's vehicle, suffered severe trauma and was pronounced dead upon arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital. James Gleason and Ciarra Horne, also passengers in Sebree's vehicle, were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Sebree was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital for evaluation. A passenger in Valdez's vehicle, Kristina Gammon, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The collision remains under investigation and it is believed that Sebree ran a red light.
