Cheers to the start of another work week (being that cheers to you is with my 3rd cup of coffee)!
Happy Monday morning! Thankfully we saw a decent amount of much needed rain yesterday, but Meteorologist Katy Morgan is saying that today is going to feel more like a sauna. Outside of the slight chance for an afternoon thunderstorm, we can expect sunny skies, lots of humidity and highs hitting the low-to-mid 90s.
Police are working on identifying the body of a man found in the Banklick Creek in Fort Wright. The body was discovered around 4 PM yesterday afternoon and investigators are hoping to have the autopsy results in by tomorrow.
Well the World Choir Games have come and gone, but one choir group from Indonesia is still hanging out in Cincinnati. Airport delays and ticketing issues caused the group to arrive one week late, and they are currently doing live performances to help pay for their trip back home. Rob Williams and Sheila Gray will have more on these performances at 6 AM.
How 'bout them Reds?! Thanks to Scott Rolen who hit a tie breaking two-run single in the eighth inning, our hometown boys took the sweep against the St. Louis Cardinals in a 4-2 win last night!
The Reds face off with the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight at GABP - first pitch at 7:10.
If you were out at Yeatman's Cove last night, you probably got to see Katy Morgan and Stephanie Woods do some pretty big honors! They were picked to introduce one of the biggest performers at the Bunbury Music Festival - Death Cab for Cutie! We'll have a recap of Katy and Steph's big intro all morning long on FOX19!
