Did somebody say "ice cream"? - Cincinnati News, Weather, Sports from FOX19 NOW-WXIX

Did somebody say "ice cream"?

Holy humidity!

If you were out at the ballpark last night, you definitely felt the heat! Thank goodness for those misting stations! :)

Meteorologist Katy Morgan is saying today will look a lot like yesterday. We can expect mostly sunny skies with highs topping out in the mid 90s and a heat index between 100-105! A heat advisory will be in effect from noon until 8 PM so be sure to stay cool and drink plenty of water!

As always, you can tune-in for Katy and Frank's current weather conditions as well as your seven-day forecast starting at 4 AM on FOX19!

So how does the President like his Skyline? A 4-way and two coneys...hold the onion. It's a good thing onions weren't involved because shortly after Obama got his grub on at Skyline Chili on 7th and Vine, he was off to host a meeting at Music HallRob Williams and Sheila Gray will have more info on yesterday's coverage at 5 AM.

Reds all-star Joey Votto will be undergoing surgery today to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. Unfortunately, the surgery is expected to keep him out of the game for up to 4 weeks. Dan Wells will be live this morning with all of the details on our first baseman's road to recovery.

Speaking of the Reds, we're big fans of getting you out to the ballpark! Be sure to watch at 6 AM for your chance to win a Family Four Pack to see the Reds take on the Brewers this Friday, July 20th!

A Mason High School student is in some A LOT of hot water this morning after he was charged with running a major drug ring. His arrest led police to grow houses in Cincinnati, Blue Ash and Hamilton where they ended up confiscating $3 million worth of pot.

Do you ever take the easy road to shopping by purchasing things online? If so, the ease and convenience might not be worth the dollars you could start spending in taxes. Due to lack of revenue, several Republican Governors are dropping their opposition to online sales tax and if all things pass, the states are expected to see a $23 million revenue each year.

Did you know that it's National Ice Cream month?! In honor if this delicious month-long celebration, Connie Cahill will be in studio this morning with an easy-to-make treat that will keep you cool during these hot summer months! Check it out at 8:15!

That wraps up your Tuesday Newsday headlines, but you can hear these stories and much more on the FOX19 Morning News followed by the Morning Xtra at 9!
