CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
The Reds report that Joey Votto's knee surgery is complete.
Officials say Votto had arthroscopic surgery to repair the torn medial meniscus in his left knee.
Votto is expected to miss 3-4 weeks and has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to yesterday.
The Reds report his roster spot will be filed by RHP Todd Redmond, who has been recalled from Class AAA Louisville.
Redmond was acquired from the Braves on Saturday in exchange for IF Paul Janish. He will be in uniform tonight.
