Tri-Staters fill up for $1.89 a gallon

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Some Tri-Staters got gas Wednesday for under $2 a gallon.

The Nashville-area Conservative group "Energize America" sold gas for $1.89 a gallon at Duebber's Automotive, 6095 Cleves Warsaw Pike.

The cheap gas price was only available to the first 150 customers and there was 15 gallon limit per vehicle. The announcement was made Wednesday morning on 55KRC radio.

Energize America says they are selling the gas for the price it was before President Barack Obama was inaugurated in January of 2009.

Energize America was started by a radio host in Nashville. This is the second gas discount they've done. They have events planned in Virginia, North Dakota, Florida, Nevada and North Carolina.
