$1,000 for "City that Sings" music video contest

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The "City that Sings" is still singing, even though the World Choir Games are gone. Local singers are creating their own music videos, modeled after the "Cincinnati's Singing" campaign, in the hopes of promoting their city, and winning $1,000 in a city-sponsored contest.

You can watch the videos from the five contestants on YouTube, and see the original "Cincinnati's Singing" featuring Bootsy Collins, Jerry Springer, Nick Lachey, and other Cincinnati Celebrities.

The winners will be announced July 31, and prizes of $1,000 for Best Overall Video, $500 for Best Musical Performance, and $500 for Judge's favorite will be awarded.
