WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - West Chester Police were called to the Marriott hotel around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday for a report of an assault on two hotel employees.
When authorities arrived at the hotel in the 6100 block of Muhlhauser Road the suspect, Len Jones, of Alabama, had already fled the scene and was wanted for assault.
Police found Jones shortly after the alleged assault and tried to arrest him but he became combative and fled the scene in a vehicle. Jones' vehicle was spiked by police after a short chase which ended on I-71 south of I-275.
Jones is charged with resisting arrest, a second degree misdemeanor, two counts of assault, a first degree misdemeanor and failure to comply, a third degree felony. He is also charged with multiple traffic-related offenses including OVI and reckless operation.
The investigation is ongoing.
