If you ask, you shall receive (eventually!)

We've been asking for rain for what seems like months now and Mother Nature definitely did more than her fair share!

High winds, massive downpours and tons of lightening caused issues all over the tri-state and according to Meteorologist Katy Morgan, it's time for round two.

We can expect another hot, muggy afternoon with highs in the low 90s and partly to mostly cloudy skies. The chance for severe weather will be hanging out today and could be very similar to those that ripped through the area yesterday.

Speaking of the storm damage, I want to give a huge thank you to all of our awesome viewers for sending in your pics for us to share - you all rock! Dan Wells will also be live this morning with a better look at the leftovers from yesterday's chaos.

While most of us dealt with fallen trees and power outages, some folks in a Butler County condo complex experienced a little more. Three condos in Liberty Township were struck by lightening, one of them catching the brunt of the damage. Although some of the residents were home at the time, thankfully no one was hurt.

George Zimmerman has been in the spotlight since February after the controversial killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman has since been charged with second-degree murder and is speaking out for the first time, offering an apology. Tune-in at 6 AM for clips of his one-on-one interview with FOX News' Sean Hannity.

50 Shades of Grey is a hot commodity in the bookstores right now, but the steamy content seems to be causing an inferiority complex in men. The complex has escalated so much that a Cleveland radio show has been encouraging men to burn copies of the book! Rob Williams and Sheila Gray have more on the "logic" behind the book burn along with the footage at 6:30.

I know it's only Thursday, but why not get your weekend started early for a good cause? If you're looking to get into something tonight, head on down to Jefferson Hall at Newport on the Levee for the 7th Annual Rubber Duck Regatta! Local celebrities like Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips and Andy Dalton have all signed rubber ducks that will be up for auction from 5-8:30 PM! All of the proceeds will benefit the Freestore Foodbank.

I can't believe it's already July 19th...but you know what that means! All of us here at FOX19 are Thinking Pink for breast cancer awareness and we're asking you to join in, too! Be sure to rock your pink attire this morning to support a great cause!

While you're sporting your pink, you can also check out Frank Marzullo in our action-packed Morning Xtra at 9 AM - we have several special and inspiring guests that are here to share their stories. You won't want to miss it!
