ATLANTA, GA (CNN) - Fast-food chain Chick-fil-A's traditional stance on marriage is sparking controversy.
Company president Dan Cathy discussed same-sex marriage Monday with Baptist Press.
He said the restaurant solely supports -quote- "the Biblical definition of the family unit."
But the response wasn't all negative.
Some argued the company had a right to stick by its principles. The company has openly supported Christian values for years. In fact, the 1,600 stores in the chain stay closed on Sundays.
