LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -
Officials with the City of Longview are currently working on repairing two water line breaks in the City of Longview.
The first break is on Fisher Rd near Highway 80. Officials say this pipe has broken multiple times in this spot over the past few years. One of the southbound lanes of Fisher Road is currently closed while crews work to repair this break.
The second break is in the 13-thousand block of H G Mosley Parkway. Officials tell us this is an older pipe that broke, but no traffic problems have occurred yet. Officials are warning drivers to use caution in the area.
Workers tell us they will be working on fixing these pipes through the night, but hope to have them repaired Monday morning. They also say that the cities water pressure should not be affected by these breaks.
