Clermont Co. residents salute military members

CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

A salute to military members and their families was held at the Clermont County Fairgrounds on Sunday.

"We invite the entire community to come out and support our veterans and our troops," said organizer and Board of Clermont County Commissioners (BCC) President Bob Proud.  "This is a great opportunity to thank the many brave men and women who have fought for our freedom and to recognize the families of military personnel for their sacrifices, including those who have lost a loved one in service to our country."

Marine Colonel (Ret.) State Representative Danny Bubp was the featured speaker at Salute event. American Idol finalist and local celebrity Eben Franckewitz sang the national anthem.

Veterans and current military members can attend the fair for free all week.
