EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) - Bond has been set for the suspect accused of leading police on a chase in a stolen vehicle.
The vehicle was carjacked Monday morning just north of Norwood.
The victim told police 23-year-old Dakeith Pleasant forced her to drive to her home so he could rob her.
Police say Pleasant then drove the victim out of state and dropped her off.
The car's owner left an iPhone in the front seat, which helped police track down where the vehicle was.
Police attempted to pull Pleasant over, but he refused, and a chase ensued.
Officers say Pleasant eventually crashed into a fire hydrant at the intersection of Hackberry and Holloway in Evanston just before 8 a.m.
Pleasant's charged with kidnapping, aggravated robbery, theft and failure to comply with an officer.
More charges could be pending. Bond has been set at $400,000.
