Bengals first round draft pick Dre Kirkpatrick could miss a chunk of training camp with an injury, according to a report from CBSsports.com.
The report says Kirkpatrick is telling associates he hurt his knee while training for camp, which starts Friday.
Kirkpatrick, the 17th overall pick in the draft and chosen with a draft choice acquired in the Carson Palmer trade, is expected to compete for significant playing time his rookie year.
The Bengals would not comment on the report.
