Mayor Mallory celebrates achievements of summer youth employees

Summer youth employment program participants celebrate achievements

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Six summer youth employment programs are coming together for a celebration of their achievements on Wednesday night.

Mayor Mark Mallory and Councilmember Yvette Simpson were on hand for the gathering on Fountain Square.

Programs throughout the city have hired students from 14 to 21 years of age to gain work experience and learn professional skills in various roles. The Cincinnati Youth To Work employed a total of 675 students who earned more than $800,000 collectively.
