A old Clifton farmhouse is badly damaged in a fire.
It happened around 8:00 p.m. Thursday night in the 400 block of Riddle Road.
After entering the building, fire crews discovered that the fire had advanced from a first floor addition up to the third floor attic and roof of the main structure.
Firefighters say it took them about 30 minutes to get the fire under control.
The owner of the building told fire officials that the structure was the farmhouse from the Riddle estate and was one of the oldest buildings in Clifton.
No one was living in the home at the time of the fire, so no one was hurt.
Officials say the home has about $50,000 in damage.
Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
