CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati Reds center fielder Drew Stubbs was named National League Player of the week on Monday. Stubbs hit .370 helping the Reds to a 6-0 record for the week.  The center fielder is tied with Carlos Gomez, who was also named player of the week, for his three stolen bases and 10 RBI.

Stubbs had an impressive week with three home runs and 21 total bases, helping the Reds to sweep the Astros and the Rockies. His week included a go-ahead homer in the ninth inning against Houston closer and former Red Francisco Cordero. The following night Stubbs went two for five with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBI. This is the center fielders first career weekly award.

The Reds have now won 10 games in a row, and take on the Padres at Great American Ballpark Monday night.
