From London to Cincinnati...the games hit home!

Even Toby is trying to beat the heat! Even Toby is trying to beat the heat!

Mother Nature just can't seem to make up her mind when it comes to weather in the Tri-State!Heat advisories to cooler air to severe storms...what's next?!

Thankfully you have Katy Morgan and Frank Marzullo on the lookout to keep you in the weather loop. According to our dynamic duo, the lineup for your Tuesday afternoon will be hot, hazy and humid. Highs will make their way into the low 90s with the chance for a few showers or thunderstorms early this evening.

For more information on your current weather conditions, check out Katy and Frank from 4-10 AM on FOX19!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of a local fallen hero who was killed in Afghanistan on Saturday. Sgt. First Class Bobby Estle of Lebanon was shot in the abdomen while serving his fourth tour of duty. Estle is survived by his wife and three children.

Early-goers of last night's WWE Raw SuperShow got more entertainment than they were probably expecting. Thousands of wrestling fans were evacuated from US Bank Arena after a glitch in the pyrotechnic effects sparked a small fire during rehearsals. Luckily no one was hurt.

Need a job? Jungle Jim's is hiring! In light of the highly anticipated opening of their Eastgate location, the international market is looking to 300-400 new positions! Dan Wells will be out live this morning starting at 5 AM with when and where you need to be to snag a spot on the opening staff.

Everyone across the globe is buzzing about the Olympic Games in London and Cincinnati can proudly say that the games have hit home! Nick Thoman, a 2004 graduate of Mariemont HS, took the silver medal in the men's 100-meter backstroke final. Rob Williams and Sheila Gray will have all the details on our hometown Olympic star during the 6 AM hour!

The hype our of Reds' ten game winning streak was smacked down last night in an 11-5 loss against the San Diego Padres. Despite the loss, our boys are still maintaining a three game lead in the NL Central.

Speaking of the Reds, why not enjoy a game on us?! Everyday for the rest of this week, FOX19 will be giving away 4 tickets to this Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates! Word in the newsroom is that your chance to win will be coming up during our 7 AM hour so be sure to tune-in!

Last but certainly not least, your favorite newscast is gearing up for a weekend show! Starting August 18, Dan Wells and Katy Morgan will be joined by our newest family member, Jessica Brown, to make sure you're in the news loop seven days a week!

Now that you're in the know of news making headlines this morning, have a great rest of the day and I'll talk to you tomorrow!
