The Reds make a trade.
The Reds picked up relief pitcher Jonathan Broxton from Kansas City Royals.

Broxton, who's eligible for free agency this winter, is owed the balance of a $4-million salary for 2012.
According to ESPN.com, Broxton did not play college ball, instead he was drafted by the Dodgers in 2002.
The Reds traded LHP Donnie Joseph (AAA) and RHP JC Sulbaran (AA).
