WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) - U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan was in Cincinnati on Tuesday.
Mayor Mark Mallory joined Donovan in meeting with local homeowners and housing counselors to talk about President Obama's refinance proposals at the home of Nate Griffin. Griffin is a retired union electrician.
The Administration has put forward a plan to Congress which uses a range of tools to help homeowners and support middle-class families.
Donovan adds that a home loses thousands of dollars in value when a foreclosure sign is put up in front of a vacant home nearby.
