We've just survived the second hottest July in Cincinnati history and while the first of the month will still be toasty, it'll be much more comfortable than what we're used to!
Meteorologist Katy Morgan is telling us that a weak cold front has pushed through the Tri-State making way for a warm, sunny and dry afternoon. Highs will still be hitting 90 degrees, but at least the humidity is taking a back seat!
It's a sad day for folks in Clermont County after a man drown yesterday in East Fork Lake. The 59-year-old man was found in the water at the east end of the beach just before 5 PM and authorities have not released the victim's name. Covington residents had the opportunity to share their ideas on the city's budget cuts last night. Suggestions include having department workers rather than officers go out and handle minor crimes as well as making major layoffs in both departments.
