Police ID victims of Milford Township crash

MILFORD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

The Butler County Sheriff's office has identified two people who died in a crash Sunday in Milford Township.

Police say Charles R. Lucas, 72, of Miamisburg, was driving a 2008 Chevy Silverado pick-up truck eastbound on SR 73 when he went off the left side of the road and hit culvert. The vehicle then flipped into the air and landed right side up in a ditch.

Lucas was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, Loretta Lucas, 72, was taken to Atrium Hospital in Middletown, where she was later pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
