Good morning!

Aside from a few showers yesterday afternoon, we couldn't have asked for a more picture perfect weekend!

Meteorologist Katy Morgan is saying that we've got a much more seasonable forecast in line for the start of your work week. Less humidity and mostly sunny skies will be making for a gorgeous afternoon with highs hitting the mid 80s. If you have the chance, go out and enjoy!

Authorities are continuing to investigate an accident that left two people dead in Milford Township yesterday afternoon. Around 4 PM, a pickup truck heading eastbound on SR 73 went off the left side of the road and hit a culvert. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the other passed away after being transported to Atrium Hospital. FOX19 will bring you the latest information as it becomes available.

A northern Ohio man will learn his fate today after he shot his terminally ill wife from her bedside at a hospital ICU. 65-year-old John Wise is being held on attempted murder charges and his wife, Barbara, remains in critical condition. Rob Williams and Sheila Gray will have more information as it becomes available.

It was a big weekend in the world of science as the NASA rover, Curiosity, made its landing on Mars. For the next two years, the rover will be roaming the planet to see if its environment could have supported life in the form of microscopic organisms. In light of this scientific breakthrough, Tim Nichols, a Cincinnati-based aerospace industry expert, will be in the studio at 7:50 to talk about the designing process and creation of Curiosity with footage from the landing.

Talk about #winning...big time actor and Dayton native Charlie Sheen made a VERY generous donation to the Reds Community Fund. Originally Sheen pledged to donate $50,000  to match the amount raised by the now-bald Marty Brennaman, but he later doubled the donation to a whopping 100K!

Andy and Jordan Dalton are spreading smiles as they make some local kids "kings for a day" at Kings Island. The program allows families with chronically ill or special needs children to be treated to free park admission, fast lane ride passes, snack vouchers and a private lunch with the Daltons.

We all know that Frank Marzullo's drink of choice is a big glass of wine, but today he's mixing it up at the Christian Moerlein Lager House. During our 9 AM Morning Xtra, Frank will be live downtown as our local beer connoisseur unveil Moerlein La Grange Saison - a farmhouse ale traditionally brewed in Wallonia.
