FRANKFORT, KY (FOX19) - Courthouses across Kentucky are taking a furlough day on Monday.
State leaders approved three furlough days last May as a way to save money. Non-elected court personnel will be off Monday without pay.
The courts will also be closed Sept. 4 and Oct. 15.
Other services unavailable on furlough days include driver's licenses, pretrial services, bond processing and release orders. After-hours protocol will be followed for domestic violence orders and emergency protective orders.
