Playhouse in the Park tickets on sale starting Monday

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Playhouse in the Park is kicking off sales for its 2012-13 season in style on Monday, Aug. 6 at Fountain Square.

A special on sale event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. featuring a sword fighting demonstration by actors from The Three Musketeers, live performances of songs from Hank Williams: Lost Highway and free production poster signings by Ebenezer Scrooge from A Christmas Carol.

New Artistic Director Blake Robison will be on scene to talk about the upcoming season and the exciting new price changes.

Playhouse in the Park has introduced new price reductions for the 2012-13 season.

Now, patrons can subscribe to all five Marx Theatre productions for as little as $27 per show or build their own series from either theatre for $30.50 per ticket.

Children and students tickets have also been marked down to $25 per show.

Students can also participate in the new student rush program, which offers $15 tickets for the best available seats a half an hour before the show.
