TURTLECREEK TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - One man has died after a six car accident on I-71 on Monday morning.
William Felton of Morrow was headed northbound on I-71, just north of State Route 123, when he slowed his car for traffic ahead just before 10 a.m.
A semi-truck hit Felton's car from behind, forcing his car into rear of another semi-truck completed stopped in front of him.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, William Felton died on the scene.
Robert Landress, 23, of Georgia, was driving the semi-truck that hit Felton's car. Landress' trailer also hit three other cars. A driver of one of those vehicles was taken to an area hospital and released. The other drivers did not suffer any injuries.
Landress was charged with vehicular homicide and taken to the Warren County Jail.
All lanes on northbound I-71 were blocked, but reopened by 3:30 p.m.
The Highway Patrol urges drivers to pay attention while on the road and limit any possible distractions.
