Local police departments participating in National Night Out

Several local police departments are participating in the National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 7.

National Night Out promotes safe neighborhoods, generates support for anti-crime programs and strengthens police-community partnerships.

The following communities are hosting events on Tuesday:

  • Cincinnati Police District 1 - Findlay Market, 5 to 6:30 p.m., Mt. Adams Monastery, 1100 St. Paul St., 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Cincinnati Police District 2 - Owl's Nest Park, 1984 Madison Road, 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Cincinnati Police District 3 - Kroger Parking Lot, 3310 Ferguson Road, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Cincinnati Police District 4 - Gabriel's Place, 3618 Reading Road, 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Cincinnati Police District 5 - College Hill Presbyterian Church, 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Goshen - Marr-Cook Elementary, 6696 Goshen Road, 5 to 10 p.m.
  • Middletown - Dowling Park, 4615 Sophie Avenue, 5 to 9 p.m.
  • Milford - Target, 100 Rivers Edge, 5 p.m. to ?
  • Amelia - Groh Park, 3390 Huntsmans Trace, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
  • Lebanon - Lebanon Police Department, 25 West Silver Street, 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Lincoln Heights - Serenity Park, 1200 Steffens Avenue, 7 to 10 p.m.
  • College Hill - College Hill Presbyterian Church, 5742 Hamilton Avenue, 6 to 9 p.m.
