What's going on this Wednesday

Good morning!

Well we're half way through the work week and Mother Nature keeps on sending us her love!

Meteorologist Katy Morgan is saying that the heat just keeps on coming! Today's temps will be well into the 90s with a little more humidity and mostly sunny skies.

Katy and Frank will be on-air this morning from 4-10 AM with your current weather conditions and a complete seven-day forecast!

Police are asking for your help in finding the two suspects involved in an overnight home invasion in Clifton Heights. Just before 1 AM, the two suspects entered a home on Klotter Avenue and were able to get away with cash and cell phones. Thankfully, no one was injured. If you have any information, please call CrimeStoppers at (513) 352-3040.

Andrea Connors will learn her fate today after she had a sexual relationship with one of her students. Connors is a former teacher at Highlands High School and has pleaded guilty to first degree sexual abuse. Dan Wells will be live at the Campbell County courthouse this morning with the very latest on Connors' sentencing.

Covington city council voted last night to pass zoning ordinances that will allow micro-distilleries and mobile food vendors to operate inside the city limits. Those in favor of allowing the food trucks say it will bring more foot traffic to the streets and spawn interest in other businesses. Rob Williams and Sheila Gray will have the details on last night's meeting on the FOX19 Morning News at 5.

The man responsible for a deadly shooting rampage at an Arizona political gathering agreed to spend the rest of his life in prison. Though his plea, Jared Lee Loughner was able to avoid a lengthy death penalty trial. Six people were killed and 13 others were wounded when Loughner opened fire at the Safeway supermarket in La Toscana Village mall in January 2011.

What in the world is going on with our Reds? After an exciting winning streak, they've now lost three straight games. The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Reds 8-3 in last night's game, but that isn't enough to take away our lead in the NL Central.

That wraps up your news making headlines this morning - be sure to tune into the FOX19 Morning News followed by Tracey Johnson and Frank Marzullo on the Morning Xtra at 9!
