A Lebanon man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for sexual abusing a child.
Mathew Harries, 44, was sentenced to 18 months in prison on four counts of gross sexual imposition and 8 years in prison on one count of rape. Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Peeler ordered the prison sentences to run consecutively and also designated Harries as a Tier III sex offender, requiring him to register his address with the local Sheriff every 90 days for life.
The victim, who is under 13 years old, disclosed the conduct in March of this year. In April a Warren County grand jury returned a multiple-count indictment for sex offenses which occurred between 2004 and 2012. Harries pled guilty in June.
