BUTLER COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) announced on Wednesday that 15 more cases of Influenza A variant H3N2v have been confirmed in Ohio.

Three of those people are from Hamilton County.

Butler County now has 16 confirmed cases, which have been linked to the Butler County Fair.

According to the Ohio Department of Health, there are 30 confirmed cases of the H3N2v virus statewide.

In all of the reported swine flu cases, the individuals infected had direct contact with pigs at local fairs. The ODH says no human-to-human passage of the virus has been confirmed.

There have also been three confirmed cases in Clark County, which are linked to swine exposure at the Ohio State Fair.

Those with confirmed cases of H3N2v are between the ages 6-months-old to 36-years-old.

One of the confirmed cases was hospitalized as a precaution, but have since been treated and released.
