HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - Things are looking up for some small businesses in Hamilton County, including a boost from a new state program aimed at creating jobs.
On Thursday, Ohio State Representative, Alicia Reece, unveiled a new $20 million grant program, which will help small businesses train their employees.
Reece says this training is something that will open the door to more opportunity.
"I think it's unique today to announce $20 million that will be available for small businesses, specifically for small businesses so they can train workers, so they can increase their productivity, as well as open up some additional dollars so they can hire more people", conveyed Reece.
The Bond Hill State Representative says her next project will focus on connecting schools with small businesses.
